Create a mascot that authentically represents Fun Fore All, strengthens the park’s story, and engages children in meaningful ways.
INSIGHT
Mascots are most effective when they have a story and purpose that resonates with guests, rather than existing as a generic character.
ACTION
• Designed Sam the Squonk as a character who transforms from lonely and sad to joyful and playful when experiencing Fun Fore All.
• Developed a companion storybook integrating Sam’s narrative with the park’s story, fostering discussions about childhood depression and resilience.
• Created promotional materials and experiences to embed Sam into the park’s branding, events, and guest interactions.
RESULTS/METRICS
